Ph.D. @ UIUC

I am a second-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Yuxiong Wang and Prof. Liangyan Gui. Prior to this, I earned my M.S. from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and my B.S. from Peking University.

My research lies at the intersection of computer vision, computer graphics, and robotics, with a primary focus on (1) kinematic human motion generation; (2) physics-based character animation; and (3) robotic motion control. I aim to develop realistic virtual avatars that exhibit human-like behaviors, to advance the control of humanoid agents that emulate humans with improved dexterity, agility, and ultimately, surpass human limits with superhuman capabilities.

I am particularly interested in exploring the potential of human interaction and humanoid loco-manipulation within virtual and physical environments, with applications spanning both simulated and real-world scenarios.

I am always opened for discussion and collaboration, drop me an email if you are interested.
